Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association

Greeting from the new KYTA Chair

Sat Nam dear Sangat,

It is with joy that I can announce the new KYTA committee as voted in at the AGM on Thursday. I now have the honour of serving you as Chairman. Also joining me on the committee are Rajinder Singh who will continue in his role of CEU Officer, Ben Smith the new Secretary and Angad Singh who will be taking on the role of Seva and Sangat Officer. (You can find their contact details at the end of this newsletter and on the KYTA website.)

KYTA is a strong association recognised by IKYTA and my intention is to build on that strength so that we can serve you, the Teachers, in the best ways available to us, through the newsletter, an improved website and a continuing presence at yoga related events. We will also be looking to build the Sangat beyond the Teacher Training Schools so that our community represents all Kundalini Yoga Teachers.

With love and blessings to you all,
Sat Charan Kaur
KYTA Chairman

Aries Blue Moon Meditation & Gong Bath

Sat 23rd October 8 - 9.15pm
With Simon A at Alchemy

Welcome to a rare double Aries Full Moon. Since there are 13 Full Moons in one year of 12 months, one lucky month gets two Full Moons. The second Full Moon is called a Blue Moon. This Full Moon is on 23rd Oct 2.37am London time, at 29 degrees Aries, so this is a Blue Moon within the sign of Libra. The Sun is in Libra, the romantic sign of love and had two Full Moons in Aries. Also, Venus is retrograde in Scorpio now too. Putting all that together, this second Aries Full Moon is the perfect time to truly understand your most personal relationship. Some will end and others will begin now. If Aries is action and Libra is love, this powerful, second Aries Full Moon is the time to deeply express your love to the relationships that survived this planetary alignment. Download Flyer.

Programme: * Brief reading on the Aries Full Moon (effect of Moon phase) * Pranayama * Kundalini Yoga warm up kriya * Kundalini Yoga meditation (usually 22min) * 30min Gong Bath.

Investment: £12. Venue: Alchemy Centre, Unit 101, Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8AH, 020 7267 6188.
