Kundalini Yoga Meditation of the Week

Excel and Build Your Healing Force

When you want to excel despite all deficiencies, do the following meditation: Sit in Easy Pose with your spine straight. Interlock your fingers and raise your hands over your head, so that your arms become a halo around it. Make the halo as round as you can, neither up too high nor so low that it touches your head. Concentrate at your navel and meditate to any Mool Mantra recording for 11 - 31 Minutes.

This meditation uses the physical flow of your energy to activate the body's healing force. Practice it for 31 minutes a day far fifteen days and see the results in your physical well-being.

(from "Reaching Me in Me, Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan")

Jaap Sahib - Song Of The Warrior Saint

Sat 21st November 5 - 7.30pm
with Surinder Sidhu in Birmingham

The powerful sound current of Jaap Sahib is experiential, bringing the listener to an expanded state of awareness. Jaap Sahib brings rulership, self-command and self-grace. It allows for us to live with royalty, divinity, ecstasy, bliss, bountifulness, beauty and grace. It takes away fear and installs vitality, courage, power, strength and self-esteem. Guru Gorbind Singh was a spiritual warrior who fought for justice. In his time the negativity was external. However, in to-day's world the negativity is internal. The spiritual path is the path of the warrior where you have to wage a war against your own darkness, your own ignorance and your own mind.

One For The Heart

The Guru Ram Das Project welcomes you to Kundalini Yoga & Meditation based on the teachings of Yogi Bhajan.

Opening Our Hearts: "The message in the Piscean Age was 'Help me, I want to know'. In the Age of Aquarius the message is 'I know, I can help you to be.' The psyche has reversed, and life has to be changed accordingly." (Yogi Bhajan). Sometimes, fear holds us back from helping both others and ourselves. You cannot give or receive love openly if you are plagued with fears. As we tilt into the Aquarian Age, there will be responsibilities which might feel onerous. In this workshop we will work with fear, with opening our hearts and will attempt to break the "Piscean Hypnotic Trance". Download Flyer.

Full Moon Meditation

Tue 1st December 8 - 9pm in Birmingham

Our beautiful moon is full every 28 days, and this as a time when the planetary energy levels, as well as our own personal energies are greatly affected. The moon influences the tides and water, and because we are mainly made up of water, it is no wonder that it influences our emotions with its cycles. In order to fully benefit from this full moon meditation, it would be a good idea to set an intention on the new moon. The new moon is on Mon 16th November at 7.15pm. If you've set intentions on the new moon, the full moon is the time for releasing them to the Universe. When you set intentions consciously, it makes you more present to the moment, able to jump on opportunities, cultivate contracts, and recognise divine serendipity.

Donations welcome. Venue: Shuniya Kundalini Yoga Centre, 36/37 George Street, Birmingham B3 1QA. Contact Gurbax Kaur, gurbaxb@hotmail.com, 07590668672.
